Howdy to all from coppercollector

Hey..my name is Steve and i live in CT..I have been scrapping since i was very young..my dad got me started..he was in the HVAC business so there was plenty to take to the scrap yards..I myself have scrapped on and off over the years but getting more serious now that i am reaching retirement age..it will keep me out of trouble and put some easy cash in my pocket..I love copper and the price they pay..also come across quite a bit of carbide..I get my copper from anyplace i can find it..legally that is..TV..CRT monitor..transformers..dont mind take stuff apart to get at it..Well anyway thats my introduction..hope to have a great experience here and learn as much as i can..right now sticking with non ferous scrap until i can get a truck to haul some steel..CYA Around fellow scrappers
