Greenhorn scrapper from rainy ol Oregon

Well lets see.... My names Ryan. I started scrappin early september after being laid off after 8 years. Then they decided to fight unemployment so I had no income what so ever. Like everybody I got bills to pay and mouths to feed so I started learnin the ways of scrappin from my uncle. I still have not a clue what im doin but im soakin up all the info I can. Knowledge is power. Im just here to learn and collect everything I can. Im still learnin the different types of metals and where to get them from. I worked with industrial roller chain for 8 years so I have that going for me with carbon steel and stainless steel. I start my.new job monday so this is not my way of getting rich but more of a hobby. Ok Im sure I have said enough and thanks in advance for all the tips/info
