New here from near Gimli, Manitoba

Hi! I am a 55 year old female who lives out in the bush. I built my own house and am finishing it slowly. I retire next month from my day job as a self-employed courier driver. (I commute to Winnipeg every day)

I have a trailer and have started scrapping stuff I can handle, I am quite strong but I do have my limitations. I heat with wood and split and stack it myself. (I started off picking up people's wood/ pallets that they wanted out of the way)

I have been avidly reading this forum since I found it and am looking forward to learning all I can to help me make a few bucks (along with other post-retirement money making things I have in the works). Of course I will be sticking with small to medium type of loads.

Work smarter not harder is my motto.

Welcome to the forum. As you should already have realized this is the best way to get the most out of your scraping. Its great to hear you are so hard working because knowledge and hard work=success. Mike

Welcome aboard. I recall seeing a show about the Gimli Glider on "Mayday" a while back. Not that that has anything to do with scrapping but was interesting too.
