Hello fellow scrappers. New to the forum, been scrapping since dirt was invented. When I was 12 we scrapped auto batteries, added copper wire to the mix and copper pipe. Use to get good cash for back then. Now years later,
I finally convinced my wife that scrapping is worthwhile when she saw some consecutive $900 paydays. Its a lucrative hobby and helps to generate some spending cash ! Now she is into it too- clipping cords and grabbing CPU's.
The days of finding large amounts of copper pipe in the lanfill are mostly gone now due to most people knowing it has value and of course PEX. Being in IT and seeing what they pay for motherboards, processors, memory etc fired me all up again
cause I've been holding onto it for some time. I know I missed the market highs but that's OK . Its' always a roller-coaster
Keep scrapping... It's our way of saving the planet ( and making a few bucks in the process )
