    Cool Howdy Peeps!

    Hello everyone!

My name is Dave, I live in on a 80 acre farm in the Ozark Mountains in North West Arkansas. I currently work from my home office creating animation ready, 3D content. Before that I raised chickens commercially for Tyson Foods.

I don't think I'm a 'scrapper' but I kind of had this fall in my lap. ( the reason I found this forum, I'll start a separate thread) I am a big DIY'er. I'm all the time re-purposing 'junk' into new useful things; two of the most prominent being my 'salvaged' aquaponic greenhouse, and the jewelry I make with my wife.

After reviewing some of the info on this board, there seems to be a lot of knowledgeable folks here! I look forward to getting to know you while I proceed into my upcoming endeavor.

    Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave, I'm not officially the welcoming committee here, but it'll be nice to hear/see your projects unveil. I DIY alot myself; being a farmer for the past 45 years. Currently on a binge to make junked air compressors work. Don't know why I need 15 of them but after giving 3 away, that's what I ended up with. I just can't let 'em go to the scrap yard. I even drag em off the pile at the yard and bring 'em home. Such a waste..!!

Hey welcome. Use to live at grand lake and owned Joplin magazine, Ozark Gateway News and the Table rock lakr and grand lake maps. It is beautiful country. Wish I could still live there. Treasure hunting (scrapping) is a whole lot more fun then any of the above. Take some time and read the archives you will be amazed at what you will find.
