We are new here!!!! Thanks for your help in advance.

We are Genesis Green, and I am Danielle. We are in the recycling business and primarily do decommissions of cell phone towers-lots of them. Copper/Aluminum are the two primary materials we produce in mass, and obviously e-waste. Right now I am in search of some info as to were to scrap connectors. We have a lot of them, and many different kinds.

    Thanks everyone!

Welcome from the Dakota's. Several on the forum will be able to help you. One member even scraps cell towers in the south. I will let them introduce themselves. If you tried to do a search as a guest, the results are not good. Now that you are a member, you should have a better experience searching the threads. Good luck.

Hello GG : ) Welcome to SMF, and good luck! After you've made about 5 or 10 posts/comments you might should start a thread with photos of the different sorts of connectors. I'm fairly certain they'll be mostly gold tipped. You might also be getting some high grade boards there. Our member doesn't actually scrap them, I think he services the back-up generators. Anyway, welcome and lotsa luck to yall

I would check to see the main body of the connectors are brass(nickel plated) and determine if the pins are gold plated. Take your time and save up what you get for now until your are certain what to do with them. Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked

Welcome to the forum. Do the connectors have gold pins? If they do we have several buyers for them, look in the buyers section, you might be able to find someone in thiere, if not maybe they will post here. If they are gold you should be able to get about 1.00#.
