New Guy
Hello everyone. I am really just starting out in scrapping. Trying to figure it out. At 58 I can't find anything but part time jobs so while I work one I am going to try and create one. I live in a pretty rural area so not sure how it will work out but we will see. I have been very impressed reading the post so far. It is a pleasure to meet you all.

Welcome to the forum from Florida. Keep reading as much as you can, you'll find a wealth of info on this forum. Get the word out to as many people as you can about what you are doing. Get some business cards printed and hand them out. You can also drive around on garbage day and get what people throw out. Hope this helps a little bit. Happy scrappen.Originally Posted by tinkerman

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been reading like crazy. You guys are right there is a wealth of info here.
Right now I don't have a truck using a Honda fit hatch back so size is an issue. Figure I will start with aluminum cans and e-scrap and what ever I can get in the car. When I can afford it I will get a small pickup. I would like to turn this info a real viable full time business.
