    hello everyone

Just thought that I would say hi to everyone. I an a 44 yrar old woman, been married for 23 years and have 3 kids. I have been dealing with scrap metal my whole life, and started with escrap about 6 years ago. I had a local buyer for escrap, and he suddenly stopped dealing with it a month or so ago. I done a google search and turned up with this website. I would like to get a connection with a few buyers on here, and have a solid buyer for what I have now, and what I will have in the future.

If you tell us what state you are in, it might be easier to find someone local. There are also a few buyers here that have shipping contracts.

Post a few more times so that messaging will be unlocked. There are plenty of threads to read, and there have to be a few worth commenting on.

Welcome to the forum. Read the old threads for an even better education. Read the buyers/sellers section and note the prices, and feed back from members who have sold to them. It will always pay to have more buyers available to you. Mike.

Hello there and welcome to the forum. You have stumbled on a great place. I, (as well as several other members), have developed relationships with buyers on this forum. I just had got into escrap when I joined this forum. I actually had a buyer locally when I joined. The reason of joining was to learn more about escrap. I quickly learned that my buyer was not paying half of what most of the stuff was worth. Now I seperate the stuff out more and send some things to one buyer, and other items to a different buyer. There is also buyers on here that will pay more than scrap value for certain items for reusable, repurposeing, etc. Really search the buyers threads and see what you come up with. And don't limit yourself to just one buyer. Try different ones. Some even help out by allowing u to print out prepaid shipping lables, which are discounted rates. Most buyers on here also pay with paypal, which is quicker than receiving a check in the mail. Hope u take advantage of everything this forum has to offer. And again, welcome.
