    Hammer Ankle

    Hey there,
I am new to scrapping as well as SMF which I do as a hobby. Yesterday I ended up scrapping a piece of my ankle with the bill end of my EastWing hammer LoL. You truly wouldn't believe what people throw in the garbage. Last week I snagged a 11,000 BTU LG portable AC that I sold to a person in need for $50 after I looked it up Online it was worth $450 at Home Depot. All that was wrong with it was it did not oscillate but air blew nice and the thing looked brand new.

Those Estwings ain't particular what they hit ; ) Happy healin man, and welcome to SMF.

oscillate? is that where the compressor kicks on and off? All that is is the start switch, same problem on a lot of "broke" fridges. There's a thread on here about testing/fixing those, but I don't recall the name of it. Actually think I started one of em

Someone I know worked on a house building site, a workmate was standing right beside a stack of chipboard sheets lent against a wall.
He must have touched them or the floor sagged or something. But they all fell over & would have squashed him flat if the Eastwing in his tool belt hadn't stayed right end up & the bottom handle end down...
It left him a big enough gap between the sheets & the floor for him to stay alive, unsquashed & to get out.

It bent the handle sideways a little but he's still got it as a witness.
