    Hows is going everyone!

I go by the name ScrapHard and I live in Indiana. The city I'm in is FULL of scrappers. I've met some that are good people and I've met a lot that were total jerks here. They get on Craigslist, post their services in the free section, and fight with each other openly on there. It's pretty ridiculous. One time I even witnessed two scrappers fighting over the contents of a dumpster, lol. I personally have been hauling scrap with my dad since I was young. It is a skill set I picked up from him. I'm into the obvious types of metal (copper, aluminum, etc.) and I just started getting into E Scrap. I am having a hard time finding a good buyer however for low grade boards, which sucks cause I'm accumulating quite the pile. I would also like to get into plastic recycling but I have no idea where or who to sell it to. Anyway, that's a little about me, glad to be here. I would appreciate any good advice anyone throws my way and thanks for reading!

Disposal of low grade boards: 1. Scrap a refrigerator 2. Throw boards in the empty fridge 3. Fill with scrap.

Even depopulated of the obvious components, there is still a good amount of aluminum, brass and copper on a low grade board. You're not cheating anyone.

Welcome. I am also a second generation scrapper (albeit we were both part-time). Now I take my kids with me when I go to the yard. They love watching the machines and train go by, but they especially like getting a lollipop at the office.

I'm gonna put it to you like this, first, be professional in all you do, two, no amount of scrap is worth fighting over. Keep those two things in mind and you will always separate yourself from the crazies. This forum has a lot to offer. Take the time to read, communicate, and educate yourself and it will workout just fine for you.
