so ive been poking around for a couple days reading this and that on smf decided it looks like a forum/community worth being a part of so i signed up to participate.
ive been hauling scrap of all kinds since i was 18 or 19, started when my dad cleaned out our shop for extra money one day and i was laughing at him going oh ur wasting your time wth are you doing that for. he came back later that afternoon with around $80 for not that much material/effort. a lightbulb went off in my head.... i can get people to give me TONS of that broken old crap. started cleaning up junk around friends houses, put an add on kijiji and it went from there. i have never really been able to make enough to support myself off of just scrap metal but i have also built a small business parting out old bmw's as well as doing demolition and cleanup jobs selling things online whatever i can do really. started out getting my dad to drive me around in his truck to pick stuff up, i still use his trailers for hauling cars but i now have my own truck, my own beautiful mint bmw (not anything special but i love it) and 3 parts cars as well as a hoard of more parts from bimmers no longer with us... lol so anyway thats my story about how i got here typing this introduction of myself to your forum. i hope to exchange thoughts, ideas and maybe even metal with many of you
