    New to the scrap business

Hello everyone, my name is Maiwand and I am from Toronto, Ontario. I am new to the scrap business and need your advice.

I got introduced to this business while working as a freelancer for a company in Egypt. I am mostly focused on computer scrap and need to find sellers as many of you do.

I am not familiar with the prices as they seem to change everyday and would need guidance on where to look for reliable prices of computer scrap. Also if anyone could direct me to websites where I can find reliable suppliers of computer scrap as there seems to be a lot of scammers in the business.

In addition I would love advice for what to do and what not to do in terms of dealing with suppliers and buyers of scrap.

    Cheers,

    Maiwand

Welcome from Barrie! Just an hour north. If you have pallets of ewaste, check out EDI in orillia. As for smaller amounts of stuff, im not sure which place pays the most in your area.

If I had a good source or goldmine, I would not share it with anyone, their too hard to come by. No offense.
And there is a lot of scammers in this business, reading up is your best defense. There is no substitute for knowledge.

Welcome Rob, but I would suggest you try creating your own intro thread, might get better responses that way! Im not from your area so Im not much help but if you create your own intro theres a better chance others in your area will see it!
