I finally got around to getting a membership and lurking for many years. I have been scrapping since the mid 90s and considerably longer if you consider my years in Boy Scouts when we collected newspapers, and aluminum cans and then all returnable beverage containers after Massachusetts became a bottle bill state. My volumes have really started to pick up in recent years. I am advertising and working closely with a scrap yard on items that they will not pick up. I became EPA certified for refrigerant recovery over a year ago and began recovering refrigerant in order to properly recycle refrigerators, freezers, ACs, dehumidifiers, etc.. I have been doing E-waste for a while now, having dealt with Mario (E-wasted), Dennis (ROK), Phillyscrapbuyer, and PTS. I look forward to making new contacts, improving my scrapping knowledge and helping others.
