New member from South Dakota

Hello everyone. 3rd generation self employed scrapper here. I collect "junk" half the time, and do videography/video production the other half. Weird combination huh? I get an adrenalin rush just looking at anything metal. Here in South Dakota we have lots of farm machinery that could be scrapped, I don't get into that much. Deal mostly with aluminum and copper. Proudest moment: getting my 10 year-old great nephew started in the scrap business. He buys hunting gear and fireworks with his profits. Any "welcome" messages from other members here are welcome and appreciated!!!

Welcome to the forum. Weird, is not always so weird! Even weird can have value, sometimes a lot of value. I personally think having a vast level of experience is what it takes to be a successful scraper. I have come to learn that weird, Isn't all that weird, weird is what others throw away!

Welcome from both eastern and western South Dakota. We are finally starting to get some representation on the forum. At least four members reside from here, maybe more.

That's like half the state, if you can get the cattle to post you'd have full state representation.

Thanks sirscrspalot! Haha, funny stuff. I should have mentioned, besides scrapping and video work, we also have cows. Only about 50, soon to be 100, when they pop their babies out! Watch those greenhouse gases that come out a cows rear end!

We all still suffer from your wise cracks! The whole forum does! Theres no getting away from it! But its all good, we all enjoy it.
