Greetings from the Midwest (Indianapolis, Indiana)

Ive always took appliances to the scrapyard just as iron. It wasnt until my sons wanted to take stuff apart to see what was inside when I realized there was a ton more to know. After researching, it has become a hobby/bonding time for my sons and I . My wife and I have good jobs but the treasure hunt is too much to resist. Plus the scrapyard gives my boys a sucker every time we go so they are thrilled. lol

Thanks to all of you posting information and let us "newbies" learn from you.

    Thanks from Indianapolis.

Welcome to the forum from Nashville Tn. It is like a treasure hunt isn't it. You never know what you're going to get. Just like that box of chocolates.
