Here is a pic of the machine that will be here in a few weeks , 20 ton was a typo. Been collecting filters for awhile now, Have been cutting them open but this is better.
welcome
I was confused for a bit because when you mentioned recycle oil filters, I took it as remanufacturing aka cleaning out the pleats and using it again haha
Thank you . lol recycling them that way would be something else lol. Against the law here in this state to put used filters in landfills they have to be drained and crushed .
Welcome to the forum. Interesting area of recycling. I'm in Jacksonville, where about ENC are you?
By looking at the photo I am assuming you are able to capture the residual oil and sell it. Best of luck. Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
PJ..The yards here will not take them until drained . I get a fair share of them and building up.... I enjoy it Retired here and it passes time.
Miked.. Dunn area here/ Yes I sell the old oil as well and the filter as scrap, It drains into the bottom to whatever one chooses . Usually about 6 to 10 ounces of oil per filter .
