    Arrow Scrapping Ideas

Hi! Associates in the scrapping world. I am just new in this business and I want to get ideas from experienced scrappers. My plans were to buy the scraps of big companies
and I don't know how to go about this. I've been sending letters to buy their scraps, but none been calling me to participate on biddings.

My advice is to lower your sights. Big companies usually have contracts with scrap yards. Go after the small repair shops and individuals. Remember the saying - You gotta walk before you can run.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Do you represent your self as a business and not just some scrapper down the street?? Large corporations like to deal with other businesses so there is a paper trail of the recycling maybe. Like Mick said, you may have to start out smaller until you learn the business.

There were plenty of scrap yards here. For those who commented, a million thanks. I got good ideas on your comments.

Another thing is that big companies tend to not respond too well to people who use free emails like gmail or yahoo etc.
