Welcome to the forums from a sandbar off the coast of NC!

An yes..your accent comes through in your posts. Lol. Do you say warsh instead of wash?

No biggie on accents, us southern folks toss out random terms now an then to keep the Yankee's on their toes.

Thanks for the warm welcome Sirscrapalot !

Yeah .... I see what you mean. Scrappah , lobstah, heeyah

Actually the accent really isn't all that thick in real life.I just like to poke fun at it. ( It's a Mainer thing. )

My eldest son moved down to Myrtle Beach about seven years ago and built a pretty good life for himself. You know ...good wife, young son, new home, decent vehicles. He bought an established business last year and doubled the gross in the first ten months. Things are really happening down your way !

My wife and i went down to visit a couple of years ago. It was December 17th and when we flew out of Myrtle Beach it was sunny and 65 deg. When we arrived in Bangor later on in the day it was down in the 20's with a hard wind out of the Northeast. LOL ... we rushed out to the parking lot to get into the shelter of the car only to discover the ignition key that we had been using for the last two years DOESN'T unlock the door.

    %$#@!!& locks ..... what a PITA !
