I'm from Wisconsin and I have several different types of car stereo installations components that have 24k gold plating, according to the packaging. These include fuses, O rings, connectors, etc. The company discontinued the plating when the price of gold made it unprofitable. Would these be the type of item that gold recovery would work on? Would it be more profitable to bring them to a refinery, or to the salvage yard where I'm told they will pay sheet iron price. I have cases and cases. Secondly, any suggestions as to where to take them. Thanks for any help.
