Hi guys, my name is Wesley and I scrap a bit here/there to make extra money.
I'm from Eastern KY.
So far, I just have my 1992 F-150 w/ a 4' x 14' Flatbed trailer, to haul with.

Welcome to the forum from the Dakota's. You have a great start with your equipment and with the knowledge of this group you should shine. Good luck.
Thanks guys.
Friend of mine has been scrapping also, and we work things out 60/40 if we use his truck/trailer. Works for us.
Now if we just had a way to retrieve about 4 abandoned cars sitting 100' straight down a ravine
cutting torch, rope and truck..

Welcome we needed another ford guy !
I can't let my Blue Ovals go!
Here's what I'm working with at the moment:
That wagon is HEAVY. Truck and trailer goes across the scales empty at 5,400lbs. And the truck weighs approx. 4,500-4,700-ish, depending on the amount of fuel, tools, etc and me in it.
The best part of that wagon, was an ex's dad's and he gave it to me, and it tilts. Just had to put new lights on it, and I found 2 tires at a garage sale for $5.
So at any point I can take a load off, and let the trailer go and make money on it. lol

Welcome to the forum, nice truck!
Welcome from Cincatucky
I drove up Abbitt mountain today to try and find that spot, since it's been years since I was up there. I found 2 or 3 spots where they "could" be, break-offs in the road, but there was no shoulder to pull off on and with the blind curves I wasn't comfortable just stopping, and I couldn't see the bottom of the hill from inside my truck. One thing is for sure though, I would want a long rope tied around the guard-rail before scaling down that cliff, because it is pretty high up, and in places it's almost completely vertical. If I had a couple hundred feet of steel cable on that crank I took off the old boat trailer we could probably use that to haul pieces of them up to the road, if we can locate them.
I went over the top and looked for the wide spot where dad said people are bad to throw out trash, and I didn't find anything really worth while. I grabbed the lid to a 50 gallon barrel, but couldn't see much else in passing, a pop can here and there, but it was mostly plastic and stuff that you can't sell, unless you know of some place I don't that will pay you for stuff like that.
