New Member from Columbia, South Carolina

Hi All-

I'm a new member here. I've been scrapping a couple years. I got started when my home's a/c unit died and I got a hundred dollars for its corpse. Most of the scrap I get comes from customers of my employer's business, a computer consulting company. We get battery backups, PC's, monitors, printers, servers, and all types of electronics form our customers. My boss charges a disposal fee, (we wipe data from the hard drives), and I get to take home the electronics. I do most of the work myself, in my garage.

I have several yards to dispose of metals. I sell what I can on ebay. I'd like to find a local source to sell circuit boards and Lithium batteries.

I've lived in Columbia nearly twenty years, after moving here from NJ. I understand Southern, ("Bless your heart" doesn't mean what you think it does), but I don't speak it. You can take the boy out of Jersey, but you can't take Jersey out of the boy.
