    Introduction from Colorado

Hello from Colorado. I am just starting out in scrap metal as a side business/hobby. I can't wait to take my first load to the yard and see what all my hard work has earned me (I expect a lot of lessons and a little cash). For now I have been getting free stuff from craigslist and scrapping that. I am sure I will learn a lot from you all. If anyone has any Colorado specific tips they would like to share I would be happy to hear them. Thank you.

    Hello from Indiana

The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.

Welcome to the forums from a sandbar off the coast of NC.

I have no specific tips for CO residents. You'll find plenty of good stuff tho here to help you in your scrapping adventures..all in the archives! So..grab a chair, a cold beverage(Or roll one up, your in CO, if thats your thing..)an get to reading!

We don't refeer(see what I did there?!) to all the knowledge here as Scrap University for nothing.

Good luck an again welcome to our little slice of the internet.

Thank you. I'll make sure to check them out. I noticed on the site they don't take computer boards. Is that right and if not where can I take those?

They do take boards...not sure why the website says that. Do some reading and research on here, sort them the best you can and call and talk to Cory before you bring them in.

Yeah I give most of my computer related stuff to cory at rocky mountain as well. He does not pay well for the high grade stuff so you might want to look me or one of the other buyers here on the forum up for that. They are getting better though as they learn the business. And if you look close you can see KZ ugly mug up on the wall as a monthly winner
