I got all my scrap boards from computers that I picked up. Selling the boards on
ebay would of been the better route to go for me on that call. Right now, my yard has started buying circuit boards and pays anywhere from 9 cents a pound for low grade boards to up to 52 cents a pound for the higher grades.
When they buy them though, they are looking at the black chips. The more the boards are, the higher the board gets. Not sure exactly what the chips are, made of, or why that is how they determine what they will pay.
Each computer, once broken down, I end up with about $3.00 per. That price includes the steel, the wires, and what I can salvage of aluminum.
