Hey fellas I'm new to this need help
Welcome from Alabama. Here's a quick tip. Go to the archives on here and read a bunch of threads. You will be entertained as well as enlightened. You can use the search for specific items. Then if unanswered, you can put questions here and people will jump in and help.
Other advice, go ahead and reply now on your intro thread and tell us more about yourself. it makes people feel more like they know you and are more willing to help out than just a need help statement.
I second that pnut. Welcome from CA just outside the us.

Thank you guys I appreciate the welcome, I started off just bringing in junk cars to a buddy to help him out and get a Lil cash, I don't knowwhere to go from here, to many adds and postings on , Craigslist, they beat me to the punch line already, can you give me some advice as what I'm not doing right? Thank you
First, do read a lot of the past posts here to help familiarize yourself with all the types of scrap metal and ways of handling it.
Second, It's going to be near impossible to throw another ad into the Craigslist sea and hope someone picks your number out of a hat. What works in my experience is face to face contact, honesty, fairness, and dogged persistence. Talk to EVERYONE about scrap and you'll eventually hit someone's nephew who knows where a yard and garage is that needs cleaning out or the Waffle House that just got a new cooler and needs the old one gone fast.
Face to face conversation (not just about scrap) works. I was at a scrap yard, someone called on the phone asking about hard drives. The owner said "we don't have any". After a few more minutes I loaded 300 lbs of them on my truck. It is the best thing that works for me. Business cards with your number so they can remember you won't hurt either.
