If you poke around the buyers sections, there are one or two ewaste buyers from Rochester. Maybe if you make friends with them, they will point you towards good contacts for selling your ferrous and non ferrous.
Currently looking for a job in or related to scrap/recycling. Relocation is possible for the right offer.
