Hello from Georgia!

Hello! I am a newbie to scrapping. I am going to be doing this part time......for now. I have this crazy dream to work for myself one day but for now i have a good paying shiftwork job that allows me to do it on the side. I have recycled some before but mostly because my wife told me to! Lol...Anyways, my original plan was to scrap just cars but after reading a few articles i feel i can do even better by processing any metal and escrap as well. My intention is to form an LLC and build a business. I will have many questions and look forward to learning from the pros.

Being a part time scrapper can be a great way to learn how to be a business owner. If you treat it as a business and not just a hobby then the lessons you will learn will be great. Thanks Mike yeah I will hold off for now. Im gonna see how it goes I just want to be covered with insurance and be legitimate. I need a business checking account I just figured an LLC or INC would be needed. I have research to do still. Lol
