Thanks njsouth, i stumbled upon scrapping while researching projects for reclaimed pallets and other junk. i have always been drawn to the "garbage" that other people threw out and would often pick it up and store it at home thinking that I would eventually find a use for it. after a while i ended up with a heap of reclaimed junk that i could use as parts for my projects.i have collected things such as old cpu's , rusty bicycles, broken oscillating fans and microwaves to name a few. i figure i'll start scrapping these objects to make way for new items and to learn the ropes about scrapping while making some money in the process. i wish i would have discovered scrapping sooner . i think i am going to start with the eight 1990s cpu's i have stored. I'm definitely going to go through all of the older posts and am looking forward to learning from all the scrappers in this forum
