Hello From Las Vegas (Sin City)

Hello Scrappers,

Well I hope you all don't mind a long introduction but this will give you all a chance to know me at least.

Years ago, like in late early 90's, I was homeless for awhile and got into scrapping metal. Can's, cast aluminum, glass, brass, etc; everything pretty much except paper. That's where I was introduced to recycling and making money from stuff people throw away.

Now because of a bad economy and the wife possibly loosing her job from her eye sight going bad, I've decided to go back to scrapping to get money coming in. Hopefully I can make enough to at least pay rent every two weeks. I'm positive.

I already have a mountain bike, 15 speed, and bought a $200 fancy trailer about a year and half ago for it to haul stuff. Now it's going to be my scrapping rig. LOL

I'll keep you all posted and if anyone knows what going rates are at the yards in Vegas or the yards that have the best prices that would be great. I've Googled it and found good feedback for SA Recycling. They have about 5 locations and putting up more from what I've read.

Anyway my, somewhat, short introduction.



I'm going to look around here now and get acquainted with the forum and see what I can gather. I've watched enough YouTube scrapping videos already. LOL
