Hello all. I have been lurking for a couple of months soaking up info. No real questions (search is your friend) and just wanted to give a quick bio. I've always been interested in recycling and have had a number of businesses. My oldest & still active one is a niche USED book business that has been on-line since 1995. I've been selling on Ebay and Amazon since the late 1990s, and been involved in retailing, manufacturing and distribution at various times over the years. Recently I started playing around with tearing down some electronics at home and my brother-in-law was telling me about his scrapping adventures in the northern part of the state. I put two and two together and started noticing just how much stuff I was passing by every day on my hour plus (each way) commute to my day job (I run the Ecommerce for a large company that will remain nameless). After taking in most of the videos by Mike the Scrapper and Moose Scrapper on Youtube I think I got a good handle on what I am doing. This has made the commute much more bearable and frankly semi-profitable. Definitely a part-timer here, but really enjoy the tearing apart and trying to get the best return for the materials. I am mostly into ewaste and always looking for sources for more PC towers. Thanks for the great info!
