Hi.... I'm new to this form and to scrapping, so I'm just saying hello to all. Also, I have a load of desk top computers and parts that are useable that I want to sell as scrap. These are older units lots of precious metals in them. I need to make contact with a buyer in northern NJ, Morris County that can pick up from my location. Any info would be great.

    Thanks

    Welcome.

I don't know if they pick up, but you can contact this outfit. I've been quoted some good pricing, and I am preparing a load of boards/ewaste to take up to him when I get some more.

Been doing this for over 3 years now and I've yet to find one with lots of precious metals in it. There's a little profit in them but it takes volume to really make some money. Whoever told you there was lots in them was blowing smoke up your skirt.

Anyway, welcome to the forum and enjoy all the info and advice available.
