    Intro

D-OH! I submitted a post to get an answer about a question I had about copper without an intro! Sorry guys! My name is Greg and I've just been discovering the world of recycled metals. I used to work as a delivery driver for a plumbing wholesaler and I'd come across recyclable metals all the time, not realizing their potential. I'm acutely aware this is not a get-rich pursuit at all, but with the employment market as it is and the fact that I've just grown sick and ****ed tired of having to work for someone else who holds my fate in their hands, my curiosity has been piqued by this field. Well, that's about it for me. My question is in a thread (Basics) titled 'Prettying Up Copper". Thanks in advance to all who can give me some tips on the subject!

My best advise I have would be to not quit your day job because of the benefits. Instead use your knowledge from here and supplement your income by scrapping on the side. Just remember as you read back thru the forum that the prices have dropped quite a bit in the last year.

Welcome to the forums from a sandbar off the coast of NC.

Do your research here on the site You got nothing else going on you say, so...get to reading while your scrapping. The info here will pay off if you take the time to do the digging. Hands on experience is always good, especially when you have a resource like the forum an it's members off to the side to help you when you do get stumped.
