Howdy! From Virginia Beach, VA!

Hi All!
just a quick How do you do from me. I'm Brian Murphy, from VA Bch. Brand new to scrapping. I find that I enjoy taking crap apart without ANY expectation of being able to put it back together. I'm a gold panner/prospector of sorts, so of course, the old PCs lying around my house got me started. Learning to process them is a blast. I also want to start melting aluminum and copper for possible art projects and if there is a zombie apocopalypse!

If youmean my real job, I'm a Nurse in an ER. If you mean scrapping, I don;t really have a route or anything, per se. Just a pile of crap monitors, etc around my house and a friend who owns a thrift shop... Where do you take your stuff to cash in?

Yea I did mean Scrap run, but since we are reveling I'm a Mechanical Engineer. I take most of my stuff to Sims Metal Management in Chesapeake. They are nice and helpful and will answer any questions you have plus they are open half days on Saturday. I have been hording my E-waste and will start shipping it to a buyer on the forum once I get enough.

hey TinCanKeith, how far are you from Princess Anne Rd/ Dam Neck Rd intersection? I'm about two minutes from there. My goal with scrapping is copper, aluminum and silver and gold. No real desire to hoard a butt load of steel and iron, so I usually toss it out. It's not a lot, but you're welcome to it if you want... I tried to send you a PM, but for some reason, I'm not allowed to do that here...
