I use facebook and stay away from craigslist

Try using the name of your city or county, Example South of the Border Recycling easy to remember, sounds like a larger operation then one truck, and if and when shows up well in Google searches for your website.

Pound the pavement, give out business cards in person and a website helps when ready.
