    Prospective new scrapper

Hey all, just thought I'd pop in here and say hi, as I've been on the forums a lot, reading up on stuff. I've been leading something of an unconventional lifestyle (maybe not quite as unconventional in this crowd ), and living in my van while I go to college. After being in the military, I don't particularly like working under anyone if I don't have to. For this-and many other reasons-scrapping seems like it would be the perfect hobby/job for me. I realize it's a pretty bad time to get into it in the monetary sense, but I only really need to make enough for food, and gas right now. I suppose I also have the benefit of not being in the game when the prices were high, and therefore, not missing them!

Anyways, good to meet y'all, looking forward to getting some scrapping knowledge in the ol' dome.

Wargasm welcome to the forum and one thing about the current economics of scrapping, the lessons you learn now, will surly help when this market turns and it will change. Change is one thing we can all count on!

Welcome! I'm fairly new here, too. It's a fun crowd that hangs here and REALLY knowledgable, as well. Read, read, and then when you get a chance, read some more!

    Enjoy and prosper!
