Mech I read your post and thought WTF did I say????
Then I remembered the missing post. LOL
Wow 5 pages on a intro thread
Went from guns to drinking beer not a shot fired, well maybe one, but I apparently missed it before it was yanked. Just as well.
Great discussion on such an emotional issue.
And I learned some $heet to boot!!!
Sounds like a full S.W.A.T team is needed .
SMF could create a support team ourselves like a bunch of beat up scrap trucks showing up at 0800.
I shouldn't post when I'm tired. Had read page #1 and ended up posting on page #4! Not exactly sure how that happens but I've done it more than once...Maybe its like people who hit "reply all" although I think there are a lot of folks (at least the people I deal with at work) who do it just because they're too lazy to go find the button that says "reply just to sender". Or they get some sort of sick twisted warm fuzzy making lots of people read and wonder why did this person hit "reply to all"??
Just because they can...
I'm glad you got the TVs greyrd. Glad your safe too. If nothing else, I think we all learned something about the views on the other side of the fence. If I ever travel to the US, I sincerely hope I don't even see a gun, but if I do, I hope it's one the responsible people carrying it.
There are many differences between US and Canada, and I think there are far more similarities. Americans (I don't know how this goes state by state) have the ability to sue for liability damages (much more than Canadians) which is something I support. There are other differences but I don't have time to become a scholar on the topic.
To all, Safe and Happy Scrapping!

The phone app definitely limts what you can see and do on screen, at least at first glance, I only use it when I can't resist replying immediately. I think Dakota's issue is that he is hitting "reply to thread" after reading a post on an earlier page but then it puts his post on the newest page. I had this problem too. Dakota, i think what you want to do is use the "reply with quote" button right under the post you want to talk about.
