    New scrapper

Hi, my name is Lee and I am an electrician. I have recently started scrapping. As of right now I am into mostly copper brass and aluminum as that is what I get from my job. I get lots of old plugs, motors, disconnects from work and instead of throwing it away it's better to make a little cash and save it from the trash. I have been reading intently and hope to be able to answer some as time goes by.

Welcome get out of the scrap game before it's to late......

Actually with current scrap price situations , what your collecting
is prime metals . You will do very well on a monthly basis
While on your travels you can also pick up Vacuums from trash
Fans and add to your motor collection. The weight of motors adds up fast,
Further more Vac motors are copper wound . Some motors from your field might be Aluminum wound
A big batch of motors with plenty of VC motors helps pass them all as copper type

Welcome to the forum. As the others have said read the old threads and look to branch out in what you scrap. Reading areas of the forum that do not relate to what you are already scraping will help you in this. Mike

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
