I highly recommend this advice , I deal mostly in electonics and vintage video games but I have been reading up about scrapping cars a little everyday , why ? Because when I get a trailer I will open a new pathway to scrapping for myself and will also be armed with the knowledge to pay off said trailer .

Mech said all you need to know. Breaking down and networking is huge. I would lean towards the networking side more, starting out, that seems to be the biggest hurtle. But you need to know what your doing also.

You have to have the material to make money, more material, more money. Even if someone was just doing volume and not breaking down, as long as you have a lot of scrap you can make money, normally. Right now, prices make me SICK. I don't even want to know, LOL.
