Ours was $2200. at Ohio. Split two ways and after gas/expenses it came out to $1000 each. This was before the major price drop. A load like this doesn't happen every week for us small operators. We used the power supplies in the rear to pay for all the expenses. Probably was some sell-able cards in that lot but we weren't experienced enough yet to check them out. We were just turnin' and burnin'.

Around $1200. But have done close to that a few times
About $5000 a few times. Miss those days too Mech.
"anyone who thinks scrappin is easy money ain't doin it right!"
Wow teach me lol
A lot of your teaching material is already here, you just have to find a section that interests you and start reading. All about breaking stuff down for more money, different types of networking, all about escrap, etc.
700 bucks on a single scrap load. 1000 dollars from a single scrap job, 1000 dollars from 4 printers in a dumpsters. And about Idk, I'd say I've made atleast 6,000 most likely more off the load of computers I picked up. I payed like 600 bucks for all the computers. But that was reselling and refurbishing.

1000 a day is that possible??? Just off scrap.... a lot of people is doing eBay
I highly recommend this advice , I deal mostly in electonics and vintage video games but I have been reading up about scrapping cars a little everyday , why ? Because when I get a trailer I will open a new pathway to scrapping for myself and will also be armed with the knowledge to pay off said trailer .
Buying ewaste and video games !
So what is y'all day job or do y'all do scrapping full-time I only do it part time but I'm trying to do it full-time I believe I can make a 1000 a week
Anything is possible.
I own a computer sales/service shop by day, and we're farmers. It's a family thing!
As for pay days, it depends. Does resale count?
I don't think that $1000 Profit/day on eBay sales is realistic. That would be $365,000 in sales yearly. I wish!
For me, I can see $1000.00 per week as a possibility. But my day job gets in the way ! Building contacts and networking is key to keep the cash flow going. Learn, explore and experiment to find the best way for you.
It seems to me that everyone's area of the country is slightly different in the way that things can be done so learn whats best for your area and run with it. I worked in IT for years and I cry when I thin about how much
e scrap I actually tossed because I had no idea of the value in it. Live and learn and hopefully prosper !
in a day about $8000 over about 3 months working though the 15 loadsI cleared from a building about $36,000 but mostly $500-600 payouts from loads and auctions I love the ewaste side of scraping because it really does surprise you all the time on how much something can be worth
Mech said all you need to know. Breaking down and networking is huge. I would lean towards the networking side more, starting out, that seems to be the biggest hurtle. But you need to know what your doing also.
You have to have the material to make money, more material, more money. Even if someone was just doing volume and not breaking down, as long as you have a lot of scrap you can make money, normally. Right now, prices make me SICK. I don't even want to know, LOL.
Run across big ass load of scrap today,I can only get alil bit of it cuz I don't have a truck lol my wife telling me to rent a UHaul for a day
.....how u put pic up on here ....
I made $2500 after expenses hauling the entire contents of a Rite Aid to the yard. I went to the auction the day before and the guys had to get to Indiana from Pittsburgh ASAP. I got like 8-10 full loads of shelves and displays. A 2000 lb. safe that I gave to the yard cause I could get off truck in any other way than with fork truck. As well as a bed full of wire. I paid my best friend and wife as labor for the day and paid the real well right before Christmas. I just wish I could have stored those shelves had to be $10K+++ worth of fixtures easy. The contractor moving the other fixtures, freezers, etc. was so happy he bought lunch as I just kept wheeling 10 minutes over the hill to the yard grabbing $250 a trip. Fun Day...
