    Time to join and not just read

    Hi all
    Been on the site as a guest for a while just reading a lot. I grew up with a dad who scrapped so I had somewhat of an idea about it.
    I've been slowly getting back into it to make a little extra cash for other Hobbies
    Up until a week and a half ago I was small time scrapping with my Mitsubishi eclipse and a subaru. Well lost the motor in the subaru so finally upgraded to a truck.
    So now I can get a little more serious.
    I'm living in rifle CO where prices are pretty low but there is a lot of scrap available.

    I feel you on the prices- shred is $30/Ton here. My advice is to look for stuff that can be resold for more than scrap, or that tie into your hobby. When work funds your hobbies, you can't complain too much!
