I'll try to do my research first, I know it can be pretty annoying to you all to continually get the same newbie questions.
The only problem is, there's **SOOO** much to learn. I'm completely new to this, so I'm like a kid in a candy store with a limitless credit card!
    WoooooHooooo!!
So many questions, so little time =)

Yep, it's one of the first tools I bought him =)

"My son loves it when I say "I've got a job for you" and I have him come out and pick up all the screws with his magnet tool, and put them all in a bucket."

    Yep, it's from Goonies.
Although I *do* like Gotham also. Oswald's my favorite character...so complex.

I just want to caution you this is a dangerous business. By all means share all the time you can with your kids They will be grown before you realize it, but be extra careful.
    I'm curious, why's it dangerous?

Welcome to the forum from Indianapolis, IN. and Rocky Mount, VA. where I also have a home. I have the same story but with my great grandson, has his own magnet, actually several, hard hat and glove's, NOTE glove's are a MUST when scrapping and breaking down. His favorite is e-waste, computers, vcr's and the like's. Each time he open's up a computer and see's the ram, finger card or cpu he tell's me that's GOLD and that mean's MONEY grandpa, he can break them down faster than me, he just turned 6 years old. Good luck and enjoy.

These came out of a vcr & something else (I forget).
    Are they copper-bearing motors?
Or should I just rip the copper out of them & sell it like that?
