Hello from Newfoundland

Hello fellow scrappers,

I am from Newfoundland which is off the far eastern coast of Canada. It is an island, often called The Rock, known for natural beauty and sweeping seascapes.

I started collecting scrap from my local area by picking it up during bulk garbage days, and collecting free electronics that were advertised online.

I have a local yard that does not fancy the electronics at all, and pays them as general scrap.

Good service there, friendly staff, and they will let you pick form the yard if you're cool about it.

I watch some of the guys on youtube for tips and ideas ... I don't make videos on my own, yet, though I have thought about making some and joining the online video-blog community.

Scraping is a hobby for me, and I enjoy the time I spend breaking down and processing the stuff I collect.

Where is the electronic circuit boards going to now??? Check out our buyers and you might find a way to generate a lot more money out of them than shred price, especially if their double green boards.

welcome. like they said, we have several respected buyers for electronic scrap. not sire is we have any canadian buyers. I'm sure a few of the american buyers have experience with us-canada shipments. we also have a shipping guy, and I would bet the he could hold your hand most of the way through the shipping arrangements if you chose an America buyer.

I am keeping them in a pile in the basement for now. Separated into motherboards, and HDD boards.
