Hello Ya'll,
signed up this weekend and here is my short intro.
Name's Martin and I am located in the Central Valley of California.
Live here since 1999 and have been making a living of other people's discards ever since.
Treasure Hunter because I love to find the hidden gems among free stuff, or stuff I get for cheap from Thrift Stores/Garage Sales or other bulk sources.
45 years old (almost 46) and not wise at all. German national legal resident with greencard and all!
used to be big into books buying from charities and since I quit that about 4 years ago went through a storage auction buying phase (no I am not one of those idiots that believed there is gold in every unit, lol) and for a brief time got involved with a used appliance dealer.
That partnership did not work out, but i realized the money in the appliance biz and am picking them up ever since.
Currently looking into expanding into all e-waste and that's how I found the forum.
Spend 12 hours or more reading everything I can and I am sure I will have more questions.
Looks like a gold mine of info on here.
