Hi Everyone,
I've been selling on
eBay for years and clean out a lot of homes to get stuff. I never thought to collect all the metal and non working or low value electronics until a friend made me aware of the possibility to sell that stuff as scrap. So I started collecting things like old computers, stereos microwaves, tv's, vcr's and such and tearing them apart as per the many you tube videos available. Now I'm trying to figure out the best way to sell the stuff. I accumulated about 170 pounds of copper, 80 pounds of aluminum, over a ton of steel and iron and lots of computer stuff since I started collecting stuff about 5 weeks ago. It's kind of fun breaking stuff apart because I get to smash things with a hammer (one of my favorite jobs). Never realized how much I was leaving behind. I still sell anything that works on eBay. But now all the stuff I thought was junk also has value. I'm a total newbie at scrapping and am looking forward to learning all I can on this forum. I never realized how much fun smashing stuff with a hammer could be.
