Hello from St. Augustine FL

Hello everyone, My name is Richard Anderson. I am the Operations Manager at Leth Metal Recycling in St. Augustine, FL. I have been in the recycling business since Feb 2007. I started as the IT Admin and non-ferrous scale operator at 1st Coast Recycling in Palatka, FL. In a couple years time I moved up from the non-ferrous scale operator to the non-ferrous buyer for all of our dealers. A year or two afterwards I started buying most of the ferrous as well and then about 3 years ago the company opened another yard in St. Augustine and gave me the Operations Manager position over the yard. I'm still the head buyer for the company as a whole but there is a buyer at the other yard to take care of the day to day pricing and dealing with the dealers that go to that yard. He's also the IT person for their yard as well.


I found this board through google looking for scrap metal message boards. After looking at most of the subjects, it looks like this board is more for scrappers than Scrap Companies. I will stick around and read some posts to see if it's worth my time to stick around.

One question I do have is how do I set up my signature?
