hello from a broke dude in fresno, california

Hi, first off thank you to all you very knowledgeable people posting and answering questions on here.
Im a broke dude from fresno ca. I havent been scrapping long and I havent made much money at all doing it. Usual payout is around $5.00 to $7.00 dollars per visit to one of the local yards.
I just have a quick question-
My local yard has been paying me .50 cents a pound on motherboards and gold finger memory or other gold finger boards.
After reading on here I think ive been getting ripped off.
I stay with the place because one of the other well known yards looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they would take these.
I told them their website says you do. Attendant looked dumbfounded. So back to .50cents guys I went. I made $6.00 dollars on my last 12 pound board take majority was vintage boards.
So anyways is .50 cents a pound good since Its local?

And a couple of buyers will even help out with shipping. You can compare prices yourself, we don't have to tell you how bad you got screwed.
