If you can sell them, you can. Otherwise, not in large quantities that I'm aware of.

CL for free is always an option. People use them for planters, line tracks for gocarts dirt bikes etc. Walls for earth ship homes etc. An associate of mine and myself are trying to find funding for a large enough building to install a tire shredder(which we alrighty have access to). As it stands now they go to central Cali to get shredded then to Oregon where a company makes stuff out of the shreds. Everything is in place except the building......

That's odd that they're paying. I get some tires from the yard for implements and trucks, so I'm guessing that they're selling the used ones?

    Matador,
They go to the shredder with all the other light iron. Spoke with the manager and he said they are a breakeven item, but that they get people into the yard because of it.

That makes since if they can get away with it. Our yard charges, because they dispose of the majority. The only ones that don't get disposed are the ones that somebody pulls off the pile.

Make sure you know the law, some states have a limit on transporting tires (new or scrap). California has a 10 tire limit on transporting scrap tires without a "hazardous" waste haulers permit. I know California has the most restricted requirements (with big penalties) when hauling scrap tires, other states also have rules when transporting tires. Be a good idea to check before hauling, those scrap tires could get to be very expensive!
