Thanks! I did the paint work myself. It's definitely a 10 foot job- there are runs, spots, and other imperfections. I used Oliver tractor green on the main body, and creme for the two-tone roof.
A 305 in a Pontiac wouldn't be too bad. I'd much rather have the 350- in a headwind or loaded, it could use more power. But, the 2.76 rear end and no air conditioning means that I can get 22MPG on the highway. Not too bad for a V8 pickup....
I've never been too much of a Pontiac fan (Mostly the later plasticky models), but I've always liked the Camaro/Trans Am. A reliable drivetrain in a lighter-weight body. Sounds like a winning combination!
