Hello everyone!!! I am very happy to be a part of this community now. Here are a few things about me:

My name is Matt
I live in PA
I am a quality manager
My avatar is a picture of the sunrise on Mars from the rover, how awesome is that!!!!
I rescue dogs
I am mainly an e-scrapper but get a lot of other metals in that process so why not make a few bucks extra with the ferrous and nonferrous metals right?!?!?

I think that is about it, Thanks for reading my intro and accepting me into your community. I look forward to asking and answering questions for anyone and everyone.

Welcome to the forum from So. Cal. and home to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Mars is way cool!. So is your Avatar of a Martian Sunrise. Mars "High-noon" summertime high temperatures at the equator around 70 degrees F., with most night time temperatures dropping to lows of -60 Fahrenheit. I have been "geeking" on Mars facts lately, so your Avatar & intro. post got my attention today.
The engineer in me gets me going when I think about a rover machine operating in those extremes.

I am as well, the engineering feats we see everyday are awesome.
I can't wait for the JWT, those pics should be fantastic.

I have been an electronics tech for my whole life, got my first solder iron from my dad at 7 and have been taking my toys apart from then on...however my toys have gotten a lot bigger

. Escrapping for about a year now and recently got totally screwed by local yard so came looking for locals with better prices. I'm in philadelphia area any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.

Hold on to the ewaste you have for now and do more reading on the forum. The answers you seek are here. Keep in mind that although we are similar we each have our own situations that will sometimes require different solutions.

Go to the buyers/sellers forums and read the reviews of our member buyers. Make certain that the buyers you will sell to currently active with recent reviews.

I also deal with ewaste and sell to a couple of the buyers on the forum and have soon after joining the forum. I started by shipping boxes via Fedex and moved to shipping pallets at a time.

Thanks Mike, I did seem to find what i am looking for in our friend ewasted since he is just a state away and seems to accept everything i need to sell. Pallets? very nice, not there yet
