Not sure how profitable it is but I'm dismantling electronics right now...it really depends on how much your cost to acquire them is...i bought 150 towers 50 were quad core....sold the quads for a profit leaving me approx 75 to do with what I choose....mainly parting them out and shipping to buyers here on forum

    Its profitable recycling computers gold?

A better question is can YOU do it safely or will you hurt yourself or others?

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

All of your answers are here but first you must follow the 3 steps above.
    1. Read the forum rules.
    2. Read the FAQ's.
    3. Introduce yourself.
After that you should read, read, read and when you get tired of reading, read some more.

    Welcome to the forum.

Here's my attempt to be a nice guy and assume you are being serious with this question and may even return to read it.

It is/can be profitable to recycle computers IF you know what you are doing. If you want to know what to do you will need to know your circumstances and have a good education in ewaste recycling.

In the forum there a section "Electronics Recycling Forums" read, read, read. Remember prices change and your circumstances will dictate what will work for you.

Hopefully this answers Rosart's question and others with the same question. 73(google it) Mike

So the OP posted yesterday at 10:30 and his last activity was 15 minutes later. Yes there was some head banging and some things said and I fully understand. I wanted to say more than I did but I decided to point the OP where I felt he needed to go. The best way to learn here is to read but a lot of people don't want to do that. I'm sorry, some will disagree with me but in the last 24 years I've spoon fed 3 babies and wiped their butts and it's not something I want to do again. I've been here since Sept 2013 and I'm still learning because I'm still reading. I was able to take my family on vacation this year because of what I've learned here and since prices have dropped I'm selling things at better than scrap value because of what I've learned here. Not by asking a lot of questions, but by reading. I can only hope that future members will do the same.

I also want to thank all of the members who have contributed to this forum. I know what I know because of you.
