    Introduction.

How do you all do my name is Drew. I'm happy to find a like minded site of people who know the valve of money in a dirty form. I have been a scrapper of HVAC/R equipment for 10ish years. I'm a service tech for a small contractor. All of my stuff comes from my primary work. Then I take it home and it allows me to spend time with my sons tearing stuff apart and makeing alittle pocket money. At some point I pray my sons will know the valve of hard work and that materials are not just given. Also maybe tobe abail to put the stuff back together and it to work. I found this site from research of different higher grades that I was getting scred price for. Hope to find some elders to help guild me into the more area of escrap and presiuos metal reycling. Right now I'm just braking it all down into " like kind pills".
    Thak you

Welcome to SMF from the Buffalos Commons. Your devotion to your sons is admirable. If I was to make a recommendation, teach your sons how to take advantage of our older threads. They can go to the search bar in the upper right hand corner and type into any topic of their interest. At the bottom of each thread, they will find similar threads. It sounds like you have them on the right track, just keep them that way.

As far as you specific situation, I cannot help. My business model is based on ferrous metals. Good luck.
Give back more to this world than we take.

Welcome to the forum. On the ewaste area hold on to all the material you get for now. Study the forum for the best education you could ever expect. Keep in mind prices on scrap HAVE changed.

We don't discuss precious metal refining procedures on this forum. I do not recommend getting into refining precious metals I do recommend finding good buyers. We have many members who buy various materials and receive reviews on a regular basis. Take the time to do some reading in the Buyers/Sellers section.

Also if you read threads outside of you main area of interest you may well find opportunities you would not otherwise.

no I'm not thinking of refining myself. Just wanting to make sure I do my sorting right and find an honest buyer.
